SCERT Assam D.El.Ed. Admission 2024 – Welcome to Job Rajasthan, The State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) in Assam has announced the official notification for admission to the 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) Course for the academic year 2024-2026. Interested and eligible applicants must first apply online for the Pre-Entry Test (PET) – 2024 before being admitted to this course.
The course will be taught in the state’s NCTE-accredited Teacher Education Institutes (DIET/CTE/Normal School/BTC/Pvt. TEls) during the academic year 2024-2026.

Eligibility Criteria for SCERT Assam D.El.Ed Admission
Resident-ship: Candidates who are permanent resident of Assam can only apply for this course only.
Educational Qualification: The applicant must have passed the Higher Secondary (+2) or similar examination from a recognized Board/Council with at least 50% in aggregate, excluding marks obtained in extra/optional/fourth subjects.
For candidates belonging to SC/ST/ST(H) category there will be relaxation of 5% of marks in aggregate.
Age Limit: The applicant must not be less than 18 years and not more than 34 years as on 1st July, 2024. There will be a relaxation by 2 years for candidates belonging to SC, ST(P) & ST(H) Categories.
Reservation of Seats: Reservation of seats for the candidates belonging to reserved categories including OBC/MOBC/SC/ST(P)/ST(H)/Person With Disability (PWD) will be as per existing Govt. norms.
Application Fee: Candidates have to pay Rs. 600.00 (Rupees Six Hundred only) as application fee for all categories through online . Fee may be paid through Internet Banking/ Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Wallet.
Admit Cards: Candidates will be able to download his/ her SCERT Assam D.El.Ed PET Admit Card from the website, https://www.scertassam.co.in/ from 1st September 2024 by entering his/her Application Number and Date of Birth generated during online submission of application.
Venue for Pre Entry Test (PET): The venue for the Pre-Entry Test (PET) 2024 will be allotted in the “District” specified by the candidates during the online submission of the application form, as stated on the candidates’ ADMIT cards. Seats will be assigned to the selected applicants in the Teacher Education Institutes (TEIs) in the “District” in which they choose to take the Pre-Entry Test (PET) in 2024.
